After years working in promotion, I thought it time for a change and decided to channel my interest into the mind/body connection. I studied Hypnotherapy and Hypnoanalysis at the Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis (EICH); this is one of the leading hypnotherapy teaching colleges in the UK. My education has been under the guidance and tutelage of Terence Watts, recognised by many as one of the UK’s most highly respected hypnotherapists in practice today.

I have also carried out additional training with Richard Wain of The Cressingham Institute of Clinical Hypnosis and am continually looking to expand my range of therapy skills to deliver the best options that I can to my clients.

Why did I choose hypnotherapy?

I chose to train as a hypnotherapist because I am a genuine, caring person and fascinated by the connection between the power of the mind and physical/emotional health and happiness. I have always found that people turn to me for support or advice and find me non-judgemental and easy to talk to. Hypnotherapy has also helped me quit a pretty heavy smoking habit and develop as a person.

My manner is professional but still relaxed, open and friendly, with every client treated in an individual and totally confidential way. I am committed to using my skills to help you to take control of the individual matter or aspect of your life that you are motivated and prepared to change.

I find it really satisfying to help people overcome challenging issues or unburden themselves of conditions or difficulties that they have held on to for years. It is a tremendous feeling to know that you might help people overcome problems that they thought they would never be able to deal with.

Additionally I have delivered my own training sessions as a guest tutor at the Essex Institute of Clinical Hypnosis and acted as a volunteer counsellor for MIND.

My training is continually ongoing so I can develop my skills and abilities to enable me to help provide the best therapy I can for my clients.
